The Blind Side

1- Introduction: The director of the film is called John Lee Hancock. The film was published in 2009. The film lasts 1 hour and 28 minutes. It's an American film. It's a drama film. The principal characters are Michael Oher (Quinton Aaron), Leigh Anne Tuohy (Sandra Bullock), Sean Tuohy (Tim Mcgraw), Collins Tuohy (Lily Collins) and SJ Tuohy (Jae Head).

2- Plot: In the film there's a black boy called Michael(Big Mike). He doesn't know where his family is, for this reason he hasn’t got house. He is 17 years old and he is poor. One day, a rich family adopted him and took him to school, but he didn’t know anything. He is so good at playing American football, but  to be a professional player, he must study and get good marks. A lot of universities want him for their American football team, for this reason his new family contracts a personal teacher for Michael and he finally gets good marks. Michael doesn’t know which university choose, the Ole Miss university or the university of Tennessee. All his family went there. After some years, he becomes a professional American football player.

3- Personal opinion: I like this film so much because it has got an important meaning that we all must learn. There are people who have everything and others who have nothing. It is very unfair but it is true. I recommend this film for all the people!

Bullock won the Academy Award for Best Actress, as well as the Golden Globe Award for Best Actress and the Screen actors Award for Outstanding Performance by a female actor in a leading role. The film also received an Academy award for Best picture.

PLOT

This film is about an abandoned boy who is enrolled in a school. The first day they do an exam and he can't write and read. When he leaves school, the son of a rich family speaks with the boy while his mother is watching them from the car. In the afternoon Michael is alone in a laundry where he washed his trainers. The next day the mother of the rich family realizes that the boy is abandoned and she asks him if he wants to go home with them and he starts living with them.
At school there is a football team. His parents enroll him but he doesn't know how to play. The son trains him because he wants to improve in football. At Christmas, the family takes a family photo and he appears on it too because he has become a member of the family. Some days later he plays a match and they win. His mother asks for information about him because she wants to become his legal tutor.
When he is 18 years old, they buy a car for him and the first day when he is driving they have an accident. Michael Oher stops the airbag and it doesn't hurt the son of the family. In the end he is the best at football and all the universities want him. His parents pay a teacher to help him to pass the exams.

OPINION

I love the movie. There are scenes that are really exciting and make you feel sorry for him and there are also scenes where we see a united family.
The scene I like the most is the scene when they take photos at Christmas because they love their family.

The blind side

The director of the Blind Side is John Lee Hancock. Sandra Bullock had an Oscar for this film. They won other awards too. It was released in 2009. It's a real story, then, a writer wrote a novel, and finally John Lee Hancock did the film. The original music is made by Carter Burwell. It's 128 minutes long.

There's a man called Michael. He is poor. Leight Anne decides to invite him to her house. The first night, Michael wants to go out. But Leigh Anne tells him that he can stay there more time. Michael stays there some days.
Then, Leigh Anne wants to be the legal tutor of Michael. When she is doing this, she knows other things about Michael. Her mum was addicted to drugs.

Michael goes to school every day. When he does good in all the subjects, he starts to play football. He becomes the best. Some good universities want Michael. He decides to go to Ole Miss.

A social inspector says to Michael why he wants to go to Ole Miss. She explains to Michael that Leigh Anne and his personal teacher went to this university. And they only want him to play football in their favorite university. Michael gets angry and he leaves the house. But Leigh Anne says to Michael that he can go to the university that he wants.

Finally, Michael says to the social inspector that he wants to go to Ole Miss because  all his family went there and Michael, "Big Mike", goes to Ole Miss.

I think that's a good film because it is very interesting. The best scene, for me, is the last part. In this part Michael can go to the university. Then, he can become a professional football player. I recommend to all the people because it's a good film to see to all ages.

SUMMARY: Big Mike was a poor boy, he didn't have a family and a house to live. He went to school and one day a rich family found him in the street, and they told him if he wanted to go with them.

He went with them the first night, but then he wanted to live with them. Finaly they adopted him. The

mother is called Leigh Anne, the father is Sean Tuothy, his sister is Collins Tuothy and his brother

SJ Tuohy.

One day Michael and SJ had an accident in a car, but Mike saved SJ's life putting his hand in front

of him.

Then he started playing in a American football team, first he didn't know a lot but then he was the best and a lot of universities wanted him. However, he needed to have good grades to go to a university, so he had to study a lot with a woman who helped him at home. Finally, he had the good grades and he could go to the university and become a professional football player.

OPINION: I like this film because I think it is very important to know the meaning of the film.

Summary:
In this film there's a black boy that is called Big Mike, this boy is poor and he doesn't have a house to live. A friend's father finds a school for Big Mike. 
When Big Mike goes to school, students don't like them because he is poor and silly. 
Big Mike doesn't know how to read and write because he didn't go to school when he was a child. 
A rich family hosts him in their house, and pay a lot of things to him like: a car, a lot of clothes, etc. When Big Mike begins to play rugby, people like him because he is a good player, but at first he doesn't like hurting other people. After that, he begins to play in important matches and a lot of universities are interested in him. Michael has to choose one university: Ole Miss, Tenesse or Mississipi. In the end of the film we can see the future of this rugby star.

Opinion:
I like this film because it's something that we don't see everyday and the film transmits the feelings of the actors to you. This film teaches that there are a lot of people living in poor conditions.

Best Scene:
The best scene is when Mrs. Sue explains to Michel the rugby field of Tennese and talks about arms, legs and hands going out from the floor in the rugby field.

Recommendation:
I recommend this film to anyone who wants to watch a good and intriguing film.
